The Founder and Principal of the school Mr. K.V Joseph started his career at Rajarshi Memorial School, Ernakulam. He moved on to St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam, and then to St. Paul’s College, Kalamassery, where he served as Junior Lecturer. His affinity to disciplined school education landed him up to Blue Mountain School, Ooty, The Nilgiris, which was a member of the Indian Public School conference, where he served as a senior teacher and was also in charge of the hostel. He served that school for five years. In 1975, he moved on to Grasim Vidya Mandir (Birla Group), Birlagram, Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, where he served for five years as Head of the Science Department. Back to Kerala, he joined St. Peter’s Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu, Ernakulam District as Principal and served that institution for 2 1/2 years. Subsequently he established Holy Trinity School in 1981 at Palakkad.
The main objective of the school is to impart an education leading to the harmonious development of the all round personality of the child, to make him fully realistic and truly modern. In this world, in the struggle for existence, only the fittest survives. Our aim is to educate our students to become successful leaders in the various walks of life. The individuality of each student is nurtured and guided in a way which will make him a successful, useful and lovable member of the modern society. Discipline is a very important factor for a successful life. We try to make out students self-disciplined and to make learning a joy and teaching a pleasure.
The means we
envisage to achieve this are :
1.
Inculcating a sense of values, based on the fact that every person is created a free child of God with rights, needs and duties, in the context of the environment in which he lives.
2. The atmosphere at the school will be one of freedom, where every child will be free to develop, but as a member of the society. So every child will feel the need for being self-disciplined, for being creative, for working hard and for giving himself in service.
3.The school will try to keep the best resources at the disposal of the students.
4. For the teacher, the growth of the child will be the centre of activity and he himself will be helped to find fulfillment as a person.
5. The Management, through the sharing of responsibility and the co-operation of all it serves, will itself find satisfaction in service.
The parents will use every occasion to take an active interest in their children and in the institution on the whole. They will in turn be helped in their role as educators of their children.
Briefly our aims are to develop in the young minds:
1.
the curiosity to try 2.
the will to learn
3. the energy to strive 4.
the ambition to achieve.
We intend to create the following values
1.To be friendly, polite and courteous to everyone and everywhere
2.To accept whatever work is assigned as the rightful share and to lend a helping hand without being asked for it.
3.To accept success without pride and failure without discouragement.
4.To speak the truth always, under all circumstances.
5.To be kind and not cruel
6.To learn and observe proper etiquette and good manners
7.To refuse, inspite of being tempted, to do a thing which he knows to be wrong
8.To contribute his share in making world a better place to live in.
The school has different subject combinations to cater to the needs of students aspiring to do Medicine, Engineering, Astrophysics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chartered Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce etc.
